Nobody knows anyone is a rag, not even the oracle that is mcfcliam. You may well suspect some is, but you don't know. Some of the people being accused of being rags will most likely not be, and for them it must be hugely frustrating and annoying to be tarred with the shitty red brush.

I've no doubt we have a fair few rags mascarading as City fans and thinking they're ever so clever pulling the wool over our eyes. Utlimately I find it all a little sad, why bother? There's one particular member who has been arousing suspicions with his posting (I won't tell you who, and I don't want you to think this is an opportunity to go rag hunting), and he's got over 1000 posts. Now, should this be true, how pathetic does your life have to be to post over 1000 messages on the website of a club you hate? I couldn't bring myself to post more even 1 message on Red Issue.

If we end up with conclusive proof, or at least so much circumstantial evidence that it becomes unlikely the outcome is anything other than the poster being a rag, then we'll deal with it and ban the perpetrators. What we don't need is fellow City fans being hounded from the board by our own self appointed ragfinder generals.

I gave up pointing them out to the mods a while ago...most are pretty blind to it, or at least ultra-liberal - innocent until proven guilty and all that.

They are easy to spot and more appear during the school holidays. It's fun to flush them out, though.

At the end of the day, they've got nothing better to do than try to wind us up.

Me too - i could never pretend to be a fan of another club, i never have any trouble winding up Rags as a City fan so i dont have to pretend. I also dont know why they think its funny, the only thing i can think of is that it is method acting, they cant be funny as themselves as they are sad wankers, so they have to pretend to be someone else... fucktards the lot of them, who we should pity more than anything else

I'm no expert on IP addresses or tracing peoples locations from them, however using Bluemoon's IP info isn't always accurate when it comes to pinpointing an individual. m23's most recent posting has an IP address of Brick Lane, London, however my most recent message has an IP address of Staines, Middlesex. Now I know for a FACT I'm in an office in Manchester City Centre so all this tells me is IP addresses don't actually reflect where you are in every instance.
