Rags upset with City youth strategy (merged)

  • So the penny is finally starting to drop amongst the smarter rags about the size and scope of our club's ambition? I honestly believe we're going to be unstoppable when we start bringing through the best young talent in the country, and they know it. Their response should be to step up to the plate and try to compete, but they've chosen to cry like babies. Pathetic really.

You think they would with the resources they've got, why don't they attempt building an academy like ours with all the extra land round carrington now we've located else where.

Spending 200 million on players that didn't work would have been better spent on infrastructure. All they are about is trying to stay within touching distance of us, which seems to get wider by the hour at the moment.

They don't have the football leadership over the first team to take them forward, expecting someone to make them successful through youth is not going to happen.

pre take over we produced good footballers from our youth set up and we didn't have the pull or resources they had. They should look where they've gone wrong and deal with it, not sit there moaning about it.

You've listed many good criticisms of the red terror but I don't think we can criticise them for nearly going bust twice given the financial ineptitude of some of our previous owners.
But we're more than comfortable with the depths we've been to. They don't even acknowledge theirs. They think they're having a bad time at the moment!

For the ultimate fantasy tune in to the year 2030 when the rags are in league 2 and we've gone into outer space. The cnuts in Outer Mongolia have abandoned the rag ship and Manchester is the capital of the world.

A devastatingly sharp fall....followed by a slow, lingering, embarrassing demise followed by a rejuvenation to 14th followed by more shite.

By the way.....no good ideas or recommendations on here bout what they should do. Never ever forget what we're dealing with here....cockroach vermin & despicable, vile cnuts.

Always have been....always will be. Hating these arrogant bastards is a healthy part of my life force.

Toot toot.

They dare not step up to the plate, our owners wealth has taken us to another level on every aspect of running a football club.
After all the years of being tormented by them, at school at work and down the pub, just sit back and enjoy the ride as the gulf between the clubs just gets bigger.
If they show interest in a player and we enter the race it's game over. If a youngster has a choice of City or Utd we will win far more than we will lose.
United are in a total spin from top to bottom and the speed that we have overtaken them and the plans that we have combined with not just the financial resources but the sheer quality if the executives that we have employed at all levels of our organisation will take one almighty effort to compete with us ever again.

The global City group is a master stroke by our leaders.

For our grubby neighbours to get back in the same ring with Manchester City they will need two things to happen.

1. A takeover by somebody with similar levels of wealth.
2. And even far more difficult to obtain by them. They need the above to have the skills in business, networking, planning , vision, structure, loyalty and class.

Man City Our team our club have won the lottery, the jackpot, the pools, the grand slam, grand national, Bully's star prize and the crackerjack pen when our owners chose US.

Good night and God Bless to Man Utd and all your trillions of fans around the world and enjoy living under a sky blue shadow for ever more.

few years back I went to a game at Ashton On Mersey School where the rags send there young players the game was between Manchester u16s and a team invited from all over the country for a trial with United I was told that every player on the invited team was signed on at other clubs now the funny thing was the invited team played in old City kits so no one would know United were trying to poach them and played a mile away from Carrington for the same reason Karma is the bollocks
