Ray Wilkins saying we lost the title during the time when Yaya was at ACON. That's not true, we were still 5 points clear as late as March.

We were 2 points ahead on 5th Feb when they started their winning run. If we went further ahead after that it was only because we had played more games.

Anyway we only dropped 3 points in that period (4 wins, 1 loss - Yaya's absence killed us in the cups though).

I'd say team selection not Yaya's absence cost us in the Carling.

Do you remember the Rags Sheff Wednesday game at owd twafford...Well he was villa boss and at ten to 5 they equalised , he then said that he knew they would play until united scored -unreal.
