Only one of ours in here. One of the the youngest in the list too.
Technically there are two of ours in there but yeah the exciting thing with Sterling is how productive he is despite not being at his best at times. Last season he was overplayed and slowed down as the season plodded on but hopefully this year he can smash his records

The lad is quality and will get better and better. In fact you could say that about all of our front 6. Amazing time to be a blue.

He's proving to be so impactful this season and his finishing/composure has improved loads - although it's probably just a confidence thing.
People who worry about his possession stats or passing should get over it as he'll never be our best player in that area. Playing to his strengths with people like Silva, Bernardo & KDB is where it's at, breaking the lines with quality movement = goals.

He is exactly what we need. We have enough players who can keep the ball and thread the pass, what we have in Sane, Sterling, Jesus and Aguero is an abundance of movement.
What teams are struggling with is being able to mark and stifle our key players, simply because we have so many.
They get tight to De Bruyne and Silva picks up space etc. Aguero is causing so many issues because he is happy to hold the play up and pass instantly back to Silva or De Bruyne as Jesus does, or wide. What he can also do if they get too tight is turn and power past players. It is a nightmare.
Sterling is doing exactly the same. Just dropping into little gaps and then running in behind into space. People can say Sterling misses chances or gives the ball away but he has shown so much confidence and resilience. He has already been slated by most of the press this season for being shite, particularly away against Malta for England. Yet he has scored 5 for the season already despite missing a game and being a sub in two iirc.
You have to get in good positions to score and he keeps doing it.
Sterling and Sane were a constant threat and the whole team are loving their roles in the side. Threatening the opposition in so many ways. Chelsea will be a great game because they will try and completely shut us down. If they cant, I dont know who will.

How do different sites come up with different totals?
Not that it matters(each source shows assists are were he shone last season) but I thought Dembélé's totals seemed off since I did a comparison with Sané and Sterling a few weeks ago most sites such as Squaka, Whoscored, Soccerbase(all 3 normally reliable) cite 6 goals and 12 assists for him in the league are they counting cup games or something in that list?
