What was even better about it is the fact he was completely in control of what he was doing. It was in an effort to time waste and rile the Spurs players into a reaction to swing the game our way and secure the points. He knew what he was doing. That experience and mentality will be vital if we are going to win the league. Go to the swamp and do the same thing. Starting with forcing Young into a reaction to get him sent off!
He could start by taking a leaf out that bird's book!

I thought he should have been rested as recent games took a lot out of him and he is amongst the most used players by Pep.

I must admit I thought he might have been taken off at half time for Sane. A lot on here seemed to think he played well on Saturday, I thought he looked a touch off his best which was hardly surprising. That in mind I thought Pep might have seen fit to give him a breather before the rags.

sterling7 on the @PFA Player of the Year: “It’s nice to be recognised on that front but if we don’t win the Premier League, I don’t want to be in contention. I want to win the Premier League, win the FA Cup. Without that, awards don’t mean much to me, really.”
Snide little Raheem... you are my hero.

Never actually stepped back and thought about it before but he’s one of those players that you can never fault for effort. Gives 100% every minute that he’s on the pitch. Fast becoming my joint favourite player with Bernardo.

Plays with a lot more maturity, again. His contributions to the 90 minutes are growing by the week.
