“For Raheem it was never ever about money. If it was about money he could have stayed at Liverpool. It was about being the best he can be. And in that moment there was an opportunity to go to Manchester City where they had top-class players. He’s gone in there and developed and become a winner, which is clear to see in his game. I look at Pep Guardiola’s team and it’s not the same if he’s not in it. What a testament that is to a young English player.”

Fuck Rogers, i saw a video a while back where they were on the training pitch and Rogers was shouting ‘STERLING’ at Raheem.
My boss doesn’t call me by my surname !

Sterling scoring the winner tonight would be poetic justice for all the venom and hate the Dippers generated when he left Klanfield it lasted 3 years and has only just turned around this season ,and he faces the main protagonist Brendan Rodgers tonight , he went public over Raheem's contract and told all and sundry he had rejected £100 a week contract that the Dippers had offered , and the vitriol and bile started then. That was a disgusting thing to do to a young player and i very much doubt Raheem will ever forget what he did. So never mind scoring the winner a Sterling hat-trick would be more apt.

If they only offered him £100 a week you can see why he left.
