How ironic that he's been arrested when on drugs while driving, when his greatest talent was knowing where to be at the right time.

Also drug and drink driving is a scourge on this land.

I read somewhere he's been suffering with depression, which is hardly surprising given the spotlight he's been under from an early age.

He's done himself no favours, but the media have been hounding him for years waiting for him to fuck up, which he has done spectacularly this time.
 
Can’t defend what he’s done but his career fell off a cliff after he left City and he’s still relatively young. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s suffering from depression.
 
I wish him all the best in dealing with whatever challenges he has in his life. Many footballers and athletes struggle badly with the end of their career: the loss of adulation, of routine, and the only way in which you have been valued from being a child.

As for the alleged drug driving - evidence, charge, convict, sentence: let justice be done.

Cat C drugs are virtually all prescription drugs in the lowest category. Let’s not hang Raheem before we know the full facts. He was a great servant for our club.

It’s a Category C drug he’s had in his system, as others have said, let’s wait for the facts before hanging him out to dry.

It’s a real shame how his career has ended up. Should never have left Pep.

That is my EXACT point.
I wish him well, and he is NOT GUILTY until such time as the evidence has been gathered, then charged, then trial, and then sentencing.

Think he's probably going through a lot of stuff, but you just cannot excuse this, or any other drunk or drug driver. Someone could have been seriously hurt or worse.
