Good news that. He managed to find some form again thankfully and is certainly worth a spot in the squad.
I am under no illusion he probably did consider leaving and there is a chance that simply no offers were coming in from Spain or elsewhere. He is very professional though and i doubt any of us were under the illusion he grew up with a City bedspread and posters of Nial Quinn on the wall. I don't get the idea he just wanted to leave because he hated it here either, he was just struggling and likely thought a new challenge may help himself.
That is to say i never had an issue with him and his poor form was just one of those things, he always put the effort in, chin was always up, it just didn't go for him for whatever reason. Hopefully his good form continues and he stays top of the league :)
