His own choice to leave and go to a rival.

He could have had the fanfare on the final day or the parade.

Him and Jesus have chosen to leave and fair play to them, but we'll see them several times per year trying to score against us now.

Both have our thanks and respect, but that's where it stops for me.

Ironically Jesus has his iconic City moment thanks to the Southampton goal in the final minute to secure the 100 points. For all his brilliance(and there was lots) Sterling will be remembered for missing open goals for me.

Yeah, you're right! Not worth remembering him for any of his last minute winners in our record breaking winning run in the 17-18 season! Worthless contribution.

Whilst we're at it, he can fuck off for his game changing assist against villa this season too. How fucking dare he after he missed a few open goals.

Haha, short memory , selective memory , he won us points plenty of times

Please please remember that unless you are committed to having a tattoo on your face proclaiming that you want Sterlings babies and would drink his sweat, you're not doing this fan thing well enough and can be classed as a rag.

I wish Sterling well but get him sold for a decent price to whoever has the money and he accepts ASAP. I'm not sobbing my heart out eating ice cream and sticking pins in the effigies of other fans.

He missed "a few" open goals.

I fixed that for you.

If you read my post without being a flapper I give him and Gabby plenty of credit and when they retire they'll be treated like legends.

But the fact is they are leaving because we can allow them to. As good as they were, Haaland is an upgrade on Jesus and Pep clearly doesn't trust Sterling in big games. Maybe because in your words "He missed a few open goals".

The incoming fan boys and girls will kill the "legend" tag because the next best shiny thing will be the best thing ever. Not that I personally would put either of them in the "Legends" bracket either it's just that players will IMO become fleeting afterthoughts.

Are we selling everyone to the chavs ffs , why are we selling them good players so they can challenge us
No choice, they go now for decent money inc releasing 14m in wages or he goes for Absalutely 0 next season either way he still joins Chelsea
Getting back exactly what we paid 7 years ago is a no brainer, if Sterling only had London in his head what can City do???
Selling to teams or top teams in England you could see a lot more imo, why allow Italian, Spanish teams to take the piss we should know it happens everytime to City

Look at Lukaku, Pogba, Rudiger unfortunately you don't like it but it's going to happen it's called business & City are not UTD they won't let 60m + be thrown away just because its another rival

Who knows we may just get a top player from Chelsea???

3 reasons we have let these 2 SQUAD players go
1. They both want to start every game if possible
2. World Cup year
3. Pep is happy for it to happen

Pep would have been more gutted for Jesus as the trust was evident whereas Sterling I just think the amount of chances missed outweighs his good games & goals

If you stuck 100 City fans in a room IMO 60% + would say thanks but move on..

I wonder if he gets the abuse he got here at City will be intresting

We have Haaland, Alvarez & Cole Palmer to go with an awesome set of wingers or attackers already in the changing rooms, we are in a great position blues relax

Did we win Prem, Res Prem, U21, 18, 16 Leagues???

Can’t make my mind up on this one, I think Pep would like him to stay, but I wish he was more consistent. It depends on how well Haaland and Alvarez blend in. Would prefer another year with Sterling
