Ive been impressed with this lad since he broke onto the scene. I would have preferred him to Sinclair judging by his recent performances.

He is going to play every week for Liverpool and he is is 17, he would be pushing his luck looking for a move!

I want him in the England setup so would rather having him playing every ween to let him keep on improving!

-- Fri Nov 02, 2012 7:45 pm --

He is going to play every week for Liverpool and he is is 17, he would be pushing his luck looking for a move!

I knew he was young but im suprised he's only 17. Hopefully Rogers will be able to get the best out of him, he did well developing young players at Swansea.

Nothing is for sure with this kid, I've seen wingers like him 100 times who look like the next best thing when they debut for an English club and seem to stop improving at about 20 or 21. Look at our own SWP, he was one of the most exciting young players in England and in the end never got close to his potential. Pennant, Lennon, Walcott, Johnson...

Id happilly take Walcott,at least he'd get an appearance or two.....
Besides as has been recently highlighted,he's more effective up front.

The fact remiains the money(and squad place) should have stayed in the bank until at least Jan when a quality first team regular could have been purchased.

Fair play, we have all seen young talent fade after bright starts, i guess we will have to wait and see. He would definately freshen up a rather lack lustre England team now, even if it is only for a few years.

Most wingers at some point in their career either need to move to the inside or they will fade. Prem managers tend to idealize rigged positions.

Yep. It was just an awkward summer, I get the feeling next summer might be very different, with rumours of Fabregas and the like already.

I think Stirling is quality. To be holding his own at 17 in this league would be very impressive but the lad is making an impact
