I am surprised though that you are donating to schools? Thought they were compulsory in such establishments now?

If only they were mate. Sadly most schools don't hold them, the school I have just donated too was only built in the last 5 years and you'd think that they'd have definitely had 1. Hopefully these will never be needed but if they are then it's s very small price to pay for potentially saving someone's life.

Wow, that has really surpised me. Did my first IED, sorry AED training about 8 years ago when I worked for MLDP as part of my NVQ. Said then that they would become as common as fire extinguishers and got laughed at.
I guess that School's aren't a key market due to the perception of age of users but they don't take into account grandma, nanna, grandad etc picking the kids up.
