Update on Rammyblues.

May I first of all thank all you blues for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers, they are really appreciated by me and the rest of the family.

Without going into too much detail Rammy has had the worst form of heart attack you can have. Fortunately he receive medical treatment within the "Golden Hour" and because of that the paramedics managed to get him to ICU alive, there the medical staff took over and have worked wonders on him, and I can't thank them enough.

As my lad told you earlier, on Sunday morning they brought him out of his induced coma, and against all the odds he woke up with all his faculties, although his short term memory has been affected, his long term memory has been unaffected so he does remember the Pearce years and also that he is a City fan lol.

He has now recovered enough that he can now be transported to a specialist hospital 30 miles from his home where loads of tests will be undertaken over the coming week.

Fingers crossed he continues to improve and obviously when he is allowed home he'll come on here and thank you all himself.

Once again many thanks blues for your support you are all different class!!

I'm not sure if the QPR game falls within short term memory but for the love of god don't let him watch it anytime soon if he's forgotten the events!!

Lovely to hear news like this, our medical services are fucking brilliant.

I you do happen to be on the receiving end of a cardiac episode....... then Greater Manchester is amongst the best places to do so,we really do have superb facilities and staff, and the fact much of the population are extremely unhealthy equates to those people and places being kept very busy and, subsequently, their skills being maintained.

Every cloud....;-)

That's pretty bad luck. Heart attack, loss of short-term memory but good recollection of the Pearce years. Get well soon Rammy, and I'll continue to pray for a full recovery.
