Lets face it most Ramones fans would be in their 80's by now.. so probably all buried in them. Thats why you dont see them.Is this an american thing?
Don't see many ramones t-shirts worn around the UK.
Don't see many bands t-shirts worn at all any more, except at gigs tbf
Ramones t-shirts can also be purchased from Primark...or so I'm told. No surprise, therefore, that people who've never heard of one of the greatest bands ever are attracted to what they see as simply a fashion item. Regardless, I've always advocated challenging anyone wearing a band t-shirt to name at least four of their songs. You fucking do! They were selling Ramones T-shirts in Next or somewhere so every muppet moron went and bought one, despite not owning one Ramones album. I must say, it grinds my fucking gears.
I’m always in “some embarrassing band” t shirt according to my thirty something kids. So embarrassed are they that they have asked the Mrs to steer me away from the souvenir stands. Apparently my “style” is now old fashioned - funny that cos I thought retro was a thingIs this an american thing?

To be honest, if some strange person sidled up to me in a bar and started wailing away, I'd pretend I hadn't heard him as well and just pray that he was going to go away as soon as possible!
There's Retro then there's just old fashioned. Its a thin line your family have decided you crossed. Do you have a ponytail? No way back if you have, I'm afraid.I’m always in “some embarrassing band” t shirt according to my thirty something kids. I must apologise about that. I was very, very, drunk at the time.To be honest, if some strange person sidled up to me in a bar and started wailing away, I'd pretend I hadn't heard him as well and just pray that he was going to go away as soon as possible!
My late wife had both a Monkees and then a Neil Diamond T shirt.Ramones t-shirts can also be purchased from Primark...or so I'm told.
