Random Crowd of People

After the game we headed back to the Ibis hotel to open the bubbly and overlook the ground...Looking down there was cause for concern..we thought that the crowd were waiting for the teams bus to come out....but it started to look very dangerous...heres some of the pics...not very clear at this size but when unsized its clear that the concentration of people shouldnt have happened....H&SE need a copy?

I was in it as well.

Ended up following an old guy with no teeth dressed as Cookie Monster through it as a focal point so all three of us didn't lose each other.

no LSD required...it happened.

I was in this, had to travel against the grain as well, holding on to my missus, while searching for my parents who are both disabled. Could have been nasty, but glad it was a happy crowd, rather than a pissed off one!

hahah we got stuck in this then after about ten minutes of getting through it... there was nothing to stop anybody?!?! weird

We were stuck in this too.
Some random guy climed on the barriers and asked us to say cheese for a massive photo. Would be interesting to get a look at this.
15m further on...nothing but wide empty spaces & considering there was a mix of fans it was generlly good natured thank god cos it would have been messi.

yes got caught in it with my son .. was with a few people in wheelchairs too trying to get through and was just lucky that no-one panicked - fans stewarding themselves effectively. crazy that sort of situation can develop outside a modern stadium.

Why have they built that big lump of concrete on the concourse, thats a school boy error right there!!

Got caught up in crush going onto the road leading down to the station my feet nearly left the floor a few times but it eased as soon as I got onto the road itself.

Yes, we turned round and walked away as it looked like a big crush could develop. I have to say this and the toilet facilities at Wembley, for a new national stadium, are a DISGRACE. The FA should be ashamed.

That's exactly what I was saying on the day.

There are sometimes slight delays at the toilets and exits to COMs but nowhere near that madness.

The Commonwealth games were run well - let's see how they handle the Olympics.
