Random interactions with nature

Looks like a camel spider. There were loads of them in Afghanistan and Iraq. They are huge. They can also give you a nasty bite which can leave a pretty large hole where they have bitten you. Disgusting things.
It's a Mohave Tarantula. Just minding it's own business really.

I've seen a few Camel spiders in CA, but they're a bit more skittish. You certainly have to watch were you are putting you feet with those things.
 
The parakeets are in brookdale park, debdale park and down market street towards daisy nook...theyre Himalayan so our winters are like Benidorm for em.

Seen a weasel following folk on clayton vale on the graft incase they drop thier crisp packets...they didnt have a clue.

Seen a young deer in audenshaw a fortnight ago stood on ashton canal at kershaw lane...seen another week earlier lumb lane littlemoss.

Plenty mink behind old trafford...not pleasant to see em though given their nature to british ground nesting birds.

Seen a dead coypu on fairfield golf course....bit of mystery this one cause an olde pal telks me a farm on kings rd ( new club house) used to breed em back in the sixties...definately coypu
