Rangers thread 2020/21

So is chasing the racism allegation for true justice or trying to get back in the Europa League at their opponents expense?

It sounded like the latter listening to the lawyer representing the player involved in the allegation this morning.
I don't know why they'd want to get back in the Europa League, Slavia played nowhere near their ability and still gave them a good beating, there's better and more experienced sides than Slavia left in it. They'd be better off bowing out with their sob story and collecting their cheque.

You sound like the Slavia hierarchy and manager.

Before Gerrard even brought up the allegation in his interview he said that Slavia were the better team and this had nothing do with that.

Player being racially abused is a “sob story”.

Fuck me, I’ve heard it all.

There's not been a single mention of Rangers wanting reinstated, the statement from Rangers actually wished the injured goalie well & the club well in the next round of the competition. I've not even seen any talk on the message boards. I think if folk were wanting them thrown out, they say Arsenal should get a bye rather than Rangers reinstated.

Fair enough.

Don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone describe racist abuse as a “sob story” though.
Unfortunate turn of phrase that left that interpretation open, I was referring more to either of the old firm clubs or Gerrard pointing fingers over it when they've happily condoned it from their own supporters and teammates in the past.

Rangers had a physically and mentally draining Thursday night against top opposition.

Celtic did have a weeks rest and still tired towards the end of the match.

I actually felt as if Rangers were gonna nick it in the last 20.

Happy with the draw anyway. Would love to go the league season unbeaten and finish it off with the Scottish Cup. Would me a major success.

Then it’s full focus on the Champions League qualifiers. Two rounds to negotiate; seeded in Round 3 and then unseeded in the play-offs. If Gerrard manages to pull that off it will be nothing short of sensational when you think of where Rangers were 4 years ago.

full agree.

a double this season be great.
