Rangers thread 2020/21

Do you actually think many of them voted for the party who wants to make a better more tolerant Scotland? Have you listened or read about how they feel about Sturgeon? Did you not see the same mob after the last Indy Ref in the same Square? The "element" who caused all the trouble, would have been right at home with any EDL march.

Chesterfield.
Birmingham
Sunderland
Newcastle
Barcelona
Villarreal
Manchester

Just a couple of places where their " minority" have gone Tonto. We are not the fucking same. I have been abroad 14 times watching Celtic and have never seen trouble from us. And apart from one of those games, we got handed our arse. You can read about their travels in Europe and how they won friends and influenced people. We have our bams, but by fuck we aren't even at the races when it comes to going places and being cunts. Everybody in Scotland know who the worst mob for a visit is. Everybody. Even my bluenose pals. There is a support within a support. The hard line loyalist section, Orange Order who love to hate. They even hate those among their support who vote SNP, as many do. I bet none of them were involved in the trouble. I spoke to my pal yesterday who was sick at what happened. Not all Gers fans are in the mould of the bams, but the bams are legion and always let the club down. It was a celebration without joy, it was all hate, hate of Catholics, Irish, Celtic. I only know one Rangers song that doesnt have hate in the words. One. I never heard it once. When all you sing about is hate and violence, add in drink and passions are high then we see violence, even among themselves because they are so charged up. Its a religious intolerance and hatred that is passed on to every generation. Its like the KKK, irrational hatred and superiority complex. I don't know about you, but I saw no **** of a superior disposition rolling about smashing bottles into each other's skulls at the weekend.

That's not true, there's a few newer songs, the one that gets sung most often nowadays is Every Saturday We Follow, then 4 Lads Had A Dream, then older stuff life the Blue Sea of Ibrox, & the player songs about Morelos & Kent & the like, so that's just not true.

Listen, I dont want to get involved in whataboutery, but there's a few of those places you listed such as Sunderland, Manchester etc as well as Amsterdam, Stockholm & the like that trouble seem to have found you guys so yeah, your hardly innocent that you like to make out. There's hatred & interlorence from both sides, there's no point in trying to deny otherwise. That's the thing with rivalry, it's always a 2 way street, you can't claim 1 set is driven by pure hatred & the other side are sweetness & light & their farts smell of roses, no sane person would believe that to be true I'm afraid. When their is such rivalry even though you don't like to admit it it's because it mirrors the other side I'm afraid, & that's just a fact of life.

I don't know they songs but I'm glad to hear a few have been added. As for whstaboutery, I can't be arsed either. I've said what I think. That's me done.

I heard the Morelos one on Saturday.
Thinking one song at least that does not involve bigotry.
At the end ftp added on.
Sad but so predictable.
Basically they had a sash bash with violence thrown in.
Scotlands shame.

Well, Morelos 2 songs are just his name to be fair, sung 2 different ways so if there's an add on its nothing to do with the song. As I said, there's a few songs now with no reference to Celtic or Catholic's, & Magicpole is right, it's not before time.

Most want the football songs to be about football, & that's why the 2 newer songs I mentioned are so popular, but we know we just can't trust an element of the support not to sing add ons or the bigoted versions of the older songs. Trouble is when you get them in big groups, throw in an all day alcohol session it's like mob mentality takes over. It's the same when Celtic fans go away & sing about the IRA or whatever. I bet most decent fans deplore those chants, but these guys think they are untouchable apparently, especially when full of the Buckfast or the Mad Dog.
