It’s probably best if I offer my opinion on the Rangers thread so I can’t be accused of being on the wind up;
Today was without doubt a disastrous day for Rangers. They were shown who the best team are and that’s the team who are 19 points behind them and out of Europe after their defence took more hammerings than the working girls of Amsterdam.
Please don’t make the mistake of thinking that playing under par but winning 1-0 against your nearest rivals is a good result. The Rangers players may not recover from this hammer blow.
As for the referee - he disgraced himself today. Why would you show a red card to a defender who drags down a striker who is in on goal? I know why and I think we all no why. He should’ve shown the Rangers striker a straight red for the foul early on but the Duffyassault challenge wasn’t that bad so nothing to see here.
Browny was back and showing his manliness by not going down afterhead butting Morelos’ elbow being assaulted by Morelos.
As I already said, this has been a terrible day for Rangers and their fans will be shell shocked tonight. Celtic are well and truly back in the driving seat.
