Thank goodness Gio is gone. Was the wrong guy for us but to a certain extent was thrown under the bus by the players, most of whom should also be getting shown the front door as well.

Do you have an app that alerts you to anytime a Rangers story appears online ?

Do you think this increases Heart of Midlothian FC’s chances of actually winning anything ?

Do you think I hook you every time.
You’re like the Green and grey mob sitting at their laptop 24/7 every day on the refresh button hoping for a ‘ Rainjurs ‘ story.
Of course I can’t find any items about Hearts because you’re so far down the food chain, the media just aren’t interested.

Magicpole would be having a field day right now. Shocking in Europe, dropped points in the league, manager sacked. Even today we get hit with the Hummel story, in fighting in the boardroom and the news Tom Lawrence is out to March. We are a bit of a mess I'm afraid.

I would not have got rid of Van Bronckhorst.
Getting a Scottish side to an European cup final should give you a bit of loyalty to the next season at least.

Probably mate, I said a few months ago when I first seen cracks that the recruitment wasn't good enough in the summer, and considering the players that were brought in I don't think they were his players, so I think a lot of the blame has to lie at the likes of Ross Wilsons door. I said back then that you build from defence and letting go of Balogun and Katic and bringing in an injury prone pair in Souttar and Davies was a massive gamble, and when you add in Goldsons injury it's massively backfired.

However, there were also games where he had clearly lost the dressing room, and when that happens there is usually only one winner in afraid. He has been unlucky with injuries as well, creative guys like Hagi and Lawrence have barely kicked a ball for him, & losing guys like Davies, Souttar, Helander and Goldson has made us porous at the back.

Ultimately though we are a bit of a mess right now and it needs sorting out quick, we should have been building from a relative position of strength in terms of the European run and the sales of Aribo and Bassey, but the last 6 months or so seems to have set us back, and he's paid the price for a poor performance from the boardroom down to the pitch.

Eight first teamers out injured, inc 4 Centre half’s, no team can make progress with that

If not one Rangers fan watched their games on Sky they would still have the highest viewing figures in the UK’s most northernmost country, such is the sourness

Celtc the better team first half and scored a gift, Rangers the better team second half and missed a sitter. And Joe Hart’s wash and go is working a treat.

Rangers had to come on strong second half, chasing the game.
I don’t think Celtic were too impressive but they did enough. Both sides need clever signings in the summer. Rangers especially need some of those high earners off the wage bill.
As an aside, great to see the masses of two sets of fans and the colour and tribalism. It’s needed for that fixture, essential actually.

Fatso and his team got cooked today

It’s like the 90’s when you had won the league and we would beat you. It meant nothing. This will put a fire under our recruitment as yesterday showed where we need to improve back up players. Three out of four of our back line missing. Kyogo left out. McGreggor having his worst game in a decade. So, we move on and this will assist us in spending all that loot. See you next year. I think we should give you a guard of honour first game next season after you won the We beat Celtic, Cup. You will now go from wanting everyone shot to thinking you are brilliant again. Bless.

Thought Ange recruitment was spot on though? Were 9 of that team not Ange signings?
Just for balance, your team had way more appearances this season than the team we put out.

Do agree though, the game meant little to you. Mentally for us it was important we won, was important going into next season we had a win over you and break any psychological issues, but that was about it really.

As an aside, was nice to see Raskin and Cantwell playing well, 2 Beale signings and who the team will be built around you'd imagine. It's our forward line that needs overhauled so he needs to get that right. Kent, Morelos, Roofe, Colak all out yesterday and not the answer, and neither are Matondo and Sakala that played.

Are we talking about Noel? I thought he was dead (RIP).

I never said it meant little to us. Or me. I fucking hate losing a corner, to you lot never mind a game. They had a terrible game and one game doesn’t make or break a player, or you would have no team. It’s a kick in the balls but that’s fitba. We all knew if we wanted to go up a level then we obviously needed to bring in players, yesterday showed that is correct. Even McGreggor was fucking abysmal, probably the worst he’s played in a decade. So,I am not going all clear out, it was one awful game. It’s down to those players to learn and improve. Or they will be allowed to leave.

We took control after you scored and if Oh had scored that, then Abada it’s a different game, but we didn’t. Ange made a **** of selection. If we needed a win there us no way that team gets picked. But, he gave a chance to a few and they failed, but weren’t any worse than McGreggor or Hatate. Perspective and reflection. And of course spend most of that £50m.

I should rephrase that, I should have said meant little to the players. You are right, as fans we never want to lose to our rivals, if we played each other at Tiddlywinks we'd be demanding a win lol.

Probably should ask this on the Celtic thread, but what do you think needs improved, player and position wise for you guys? I'm not sure how easy it will be for you guys to improve, because the first XI is pretty good (for our level), and as you seen yesterday, it's hard for those behind them to come in and get up to speed and perform straight away.
