Rangers thread | 2025/26

The opposing views seem to be flooding in lol
Ffs just seen this elsewhere. Unfuckingbelievable that they have edited the clip and the ball hits the defenders thigh before hitting hand..cleared up here …

This from the Daily Record:

John Beaton in the VAR room opted against flagging the incident - with the SFA issuing an explanation of the decision to the BBC.

Commentator Paul Mitchell said on Sportsound: "We are getting some information coming through from VAR, just to say that the ball did actually strike the hand but it did come off the body, and therefore it wouldn't have been a problem.

MP getting more desperate but editing clips and then posting them as evidence: ))))))))))

3 points. That's really all that matters. We're not expecting to win with much style. We know the squad we have is generally shite.
What about Antmann? I never have a go at players at the game but I was close to it today. Not once did he take the full back on. Very poor today and he is a worry. Their goal come from him losing the ball and rolling about looking for a free kick

Seen Penalty claim on Sportscene and I’d be looking for a penalty for that.

ETA just seen the second d Rangers goal and easy mistake by the linesman. Only the three Livi defenders playing him onside FFS

Not a penalty, but Ralstons was? Geez peace. It was a fucking stonewaller

Unlike yourself I’ll always say if I think we got a decision and we certainly did there. According to BBC Scotland VAR have given reason why it wasn’t given but for me that is a penalty.

That’s Thelwell and Stewart sacked by the new owners. I believe there will one or two other changes in the back room over the next day or two

Ruthless that. Owners took over in the summer and that's a manager, CEO and sporting director all punted before Christmas. Cant say they don't act decisively.

Terrible news. They were both hero's. I wonder if he is raging today?

I suppose we will never know.

Pity Cavanagh can't sack our twats.

Great start to the week. 2 utter bellends punted oot the door.
Hopefully his son follows as well.

Atmosphere and attendance on Thursday night will get a boost

According to The Rangers Review the tipping point behind the sackings is the managers squad review which he handed in last week. Obviously he has been unimpressed with the squad. This is down to Thelwell who has wasted £20 million and managed to massively downgrade the squad.

For the money Rangers spent on Chemitri and Fernandez (who don’t even start) we could have signed Scott McKenna, Abdullah Sima, Vaclav Cerny and Lawrence Shankland!!! It’s only an opinion but I honestly believe if we had signed those four Rangers win the league.

You might have got 2nd. I will give you that. If my aunty had balls time?

All four walk into the first team and automatically improve the team.

All signings are a risk and this is nothing against the young lad who is completely blameless in all this but the signing of Chemitri stinks to High heaven

If we had replaced Kyogo and Khun. Brought in another midfielder as Engels hasn't turned out, yet. I will give him until the end of the season, we would not be where we are either. We both are where we are because the guys who run us put us there. . One thing that unites us, is our own ability to fuck ourselves up. Uncanny.

You're managing of your players, in and out, makes us look like Brugge. And we are a million miles from Brugge. We are no slouches at shit windows either, these last 4 we have really touched cloth. Our scattergun approach really needs looked at.

I watched about 50 minutes of Balikwisha on YouTube, before he signed and knew, didn't think, wasnt guessing, knew he wasnt a winger and to top it all, was pish. 18 months we tracked this guy. I had him sussed in 18 minutes. No harm to the lad, like your Chemitri, we bought them. Someone getting paid, said, hes a player and spent nearly two years trying to get him. Mind-blowing. I have more belief that Chemitri will come good than Balikwisha.

Heartbreaking to see you got rid of those two pricks. That,'s the kind of guy I want in charge of your recruitment. One of the few things that has made me smile this season. So thanks a fucking bunch.

This window will make or break us for a few years. I actually like the cut of Wilfrded's jib. I laugh at the comments on our sites, wanting the Brugge, Bodo Glimpt and a few other managers, that have succeeded with similar, or smaller sized clubs at home and in Europe. As if any of those guys wouldn't look at our European battle scars, our failure to qualify 7 out of the last 9 CL do or die ties. A owner who loves a dictatorship and is prone to psychotic character assassination, would ever consider putting their head on that chopping block. They succeed because the culture, the structure, the strategy is there to support them. We dont have that. Or anything like it. We are also at loggerheads with our board. Real hatred now. They are going nowhere though. Its worse than the Kelly/White cabal. Total control by one man.

Nancy seems a clever strong guy. I just hope he was given assurances he could build a team he wanted. If he didn't, hes fucked. I think he will be backed. Then its his way of playing, that I like the sound of. Been bored shitless too many times watching Rogers shoehorn of death. You are getting better and if you sort our your recruitment, heaven forbid, we need to step up further, we have the money, the alternative is you overtake and pick up the CL wedge. So potentially losing £50-60m in Europe has to come into the thinking. It never has before, that's our worry.

But apart from all that, everything's lovely.

Just imagine for one minute what you lot would have been like if you went through our last 15 years : )))))))))
