You have to go for it, surely? Celtic are at, for them, a low point. Their confidence will be fragile.

That is distinctly poor, taking nothing away from the teams that have dicked them since the new guy arrived. Lost 4 of their last 6 in all comps (Roma isn't on that graphic). In contrast you've won 4 of your last 6. Just looked at the odds; Paddy Power have Celtic at 19/20, and Rangers at 5/2, with the draw a tempting 14/5. So, you can nearly treble your money by backing the draw, or even double it by backing Rangers.....

To counter that here’s some relevant facts …

We have only been awarded one penalty kick there in the past 25 years.

During this time Celtic have been awarded twelve at Ibrox!

Incidentally the red card stats in old firm games is also quite an eye opener...


In the last 25 old firm games at Celtic Park Rangers have had twelve players ordered off.
Celtic have had NONE.

Since Willie Collum was appointed head of referees Celtic have received NO Red cards that’s 90 odd games. Over two seasons worth of fixtures and not one Red cards. In that same time frame they have received 6 or 7 Red cards in European fixtures

Those pesky facts again.
