I was just making the point there are plenty of shit players in the EPL. Denayer was good. Boyata was a bombscare.On the flip side of that you’ve had Denayer and Boyata from City who were not too shabby.

Hamza is a proper maverick. Clearly has individual skill but he's not consistent enough to be a reliable starter week in week out.Yeah didn't he get linked with a move to Lille for 15 million this summer , he certainly should be starting whilst he is at the club .
Thoughts on Martin ?
Lille put in a loan bid for him apparently that the club laughed off. I actually don't blame them for trying that move. We're asking a fair amount for him but given how bloody unpredictable he is at present, I actually think a loan move would be sensible from Lilles pov to see for themselves over a season whether he's got it in him to refine his game enough to be worth that permanent investment.
Martin...I'm all for giving him time. I was more patient than most with Clement so I'm certainly not throwing RM out to pasture just yet but fking hell he needed a much better start than he's had, so he's bang up against it already with the fans. He will either stick to his guns and end up going the same way as with his previous jobs or he will show some capacity to learn and adapt his approach. It's really up to him how much of a chance he'll give himself to be a successful Rangers manager but it's already not looking good for him tbh.

There is a large percentage of our support that hold Slippy G in high regard after he won us the league. They were desperate to get their man back and whoever came in was going to be up against it if they didn’t get off to a flyer. You can point out all Gerrards faults and failings as a manager until you’re blue in the face and the reply will be the same …..he won 55!! He Never qualified for champions league, never won a domestic cup, failed at Villa, failed in Saudi, fucked off after spending all our money and still failed to get past a piss poor 10 man Malmo costing the club tens of millions!!
RM has come in and had to rip the squad up and start again. He’s not had an easy draw in Europe and tbh he got us as far as any thought he would. Actually further than most believed.
Domestically the performances have been as poor as the results which hasn’t helped. Dropping those points against Dundee was a real sickener! Anybody can draw away to Motherwell.
I’ve written off Champions league but he has two massive games starting this Sunday away to St Mirren then Celtic at Ibrox. Win those two and a decent Europa League draw and things will start to look rosier. Lose those two and it’s a long , longggg way back for him
I still think there is hope that he can be successful. That first 75 minutes v Plzen was a joy to watch. Even second half last night was good to watch. Shame we were 3-0 down before the pkayers decided to play!

Jim I've never been, I just read a thread about it on here. I remember City in the 80's and 90's, and what I loved about the City fans was they went mental when you scored. Never shut the fuck up, especially away. My uncle was a mental City fan, I loved his City driven insanity. Do you know what the worst thing about all this Rangers misery? I can't really enjoy it as it should be. Im preoccupied with my own team doing fuck all and our team is at this stage,a CL game in 30 minutes, weaker than last year. That is fucking shambolic and I, like the Bears, am permanently fucking raging. They robbed me of enjoying their woes.

A. Celtic are at least level. Rangers have two goals to claw back. And
B. The respective standards of the two opposition sides are worlds apart, in my opinion. I'm guessing that most Rangers fans think their chance has gone. I'm not sure Celtic fans feel the same.
And, to reiterate, I have no horse in this race. I have equally little time for either Glasgow side.
Queen's Park aren't too bad, I suppose!

We should beat them, but I don't share the confidence we will. It is just another self inflicted situation we have all seen literally a dozen times. If we fail this will be 12 out of 19 times failing to get players in has cost us qualification. It's bad enough if we didn't have a pot to piss in, but we do. I truly fucking hate them all. More than I hate Rangers. I respect our enemy. They're whole purpose is to fuck up my mental wellbeing by winning trophy's. No problem with that at all. Our board are traitors. They act as our ceiling. They hold us back. They take us back. And that's why you take your enemy prisoner and shoot traitors.
I should be laughing my bollocks off at whats happening across the city. I can't even begin to enjoy it. Because everytime I try, that voice inside my head shuts that down with our own self inflicted woes. No **** in Glasgow is happy. Both of us are just fucked off in the extreme.
