Sorry to all Celtic and Rangers fans on here, but Scottish football = mind-numbing shite.
Absolute rubbish. It's still better to watch than seeing the likes of Stoke, Wolves and Blackburn week in, week out. Samaras is surprisingly lively today while Weiss is doing a very commendable SWP impersonation, lots of trickery but running into dead ends.
To a point, I can see where you're coming from. but you're comparing the top two in Scotland to, agreed, mid table mediocrity in England. Fans of the old firm always like to compare themselves to the "sky 4'' in the prem league. in terms of size/history/support etc etc; maybe. But in terms of quality of football, sorry but they're not even close. As you have just said, Samaras did a passable impression of a decent footballer today. I don't remember too many of them when he was playing for us. You can also use Barry Ferguson as another example. He was outstanding at Rangers, but flopped at Blackburn and is plying his trade at Birmingham.

These two remind me of watching two 50-something heavyweight boxers who still think they can "do it."
Interesting,but ultimately totally irrelevant.

Very happy as I detest rangers
That's not very nice mate..hee-hee ;)
Thought Celtic would get gubbed today tbh,
but Celtic were the only team up for it.

Liked the "3 hours before kick off" comment btw.

Vlad ???, mmmm. Started ok,fell away.
Think he tries to do too much.

Ex City Leg-end scores his first two goals of the season (who says that any striker can score in the SPL???!), the good guys win and remain top of the league, like MCFC in the Prem, and young Vlad Weiss came out of Mark Wilson's pocket when the final whistle went!

It was a similar performance to the blue shirted heroes visting the swamp 2 years ago for the anniversary of the Munich disaster, with Samaras playing the role of Benjani.

Life is good. Happy 2011 one and all.

I work at the club store at Ibrox, lets just say it was a different atmosphere from when they wont their last Ibrox derby!

I personally don't care for either of them by the way, 2008 still bugs me, just for trashing God's country, and Celtic's last trip to Eastlands was, well, to put it politely they were 'drunk and disorderly' Partick Thistle all the way! Watching them is kind of like watching City in the good old days, but a bit worse
