Much of what he said there is absolutely bang on, but the idea we should be judged more harshly than others because we have 'set the benchmark' is bollocks. We are the team everyone is desperate to beat & he knows that.

Utd won the title, have spent fucking fortunes since, & not even put in a decent challenge for the title & yet he now sees what they are doing as 'ok'.

Liverpool were second, & didn't put in a title challenge yet they are 'ok'. Arsenal have brought in Sanchez & Ozil to add to a side we were being told was going to beat us to the title last year. Where the fuck have they been ? That's 'ok' ?

It's bullshit. City should have been better & the players should be working much harder, that is absolutely true, but so should every other fucker, & just because we happened to win the title last year, doesn't excuse all those other wankers having a year off.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, should all have done much much better, just like us. And they should be getting shit for it, just like us.

He was absolutely spot on with his assessment of Yaya from the Liverpool game.Some people like to blame others,other than lay the blame at the club,manager and players at our club.
If Neville was being a cnut for the sake of it then I`d agree to some extent.But lets be honest he has over the past two years given us some excellent and positive feedback and acknowledges that we have some world class players ... his words not mine.

The criteria for slating City is different to that applied to all other teams. If we did what Utd did, he would be telling us we are a disgrace, not saying how it 'needs time' & is 'progress'.

We`ve already set the bar at a bloody good height,with two PL wins under our belt,so its our fault,not his.

We let Lescott, Barry & Tevez go, yet we struggled to replace them. I don't think we have bad players in the squad currently, per se. Just poor management and the inability to bring out the quality in our players, like Mangala, Fernandinho, Jovetic. Whether it's the board's fault or Pelle's, I wouldn't know.

No, he pretends to rip into his own team, but then pats them on the back & sucks their dicks for run of the mill performances & tells everyone it's all going along nicely, when it's actually been an apalling season. That's the difference.

Rubbish, he has nailed United plenty of times this season. But given what went on at OT last season you can only say they have progressed on the whole.

I think he is usually spot on in everything he says, whether he is talking about us or West Brom. From a tactical point of view he is probably frustrated at seeing us making the same mistakes in Europe every single time, obviously he is pleased from a United fans point of view tho.
