It's not been a great year but has it been an OK year with a manager in their first year? We were stopped one level short of last year's performance in the CL but by a team with incredible scoring stats for the season. Having said that we had a decent enough 2 goal lead and couldn't hold it. FA Cup further than last season but Pellers chucked out the baby with the bathwater last season so semis is at least the benchmark for City. League Cup, never good to loose against them. Where we should be in the League with the investment the owners have made is 3rd as a minimum, no scratting about desperate to secure a CL place for next season as we enter the month of May. So all in all not a good season at all, it's not taken much to think it through and the boss's and owner are far cleverer than me so I am sure they know it to. Despite being mates and admirers of Pep he will have an uncomfortable interview coming at the end of the is season. Just how uncomfortable will be defined in the coming games. End of year report from me would be - Attack, could do better. Defense, needs to concentrate more and be prepared to sweat blood every game. Midfield, same as defence but needs to move the ball quicker when its clear the opposition have over committed going forward. Keeper, you were brought into the team to distribute the ball more accurately and quicker than your predecessor. Bloody do it consistently, too often you are seen to be looking but not seeing with the ball grasped to your chest when there are blue shirts breaking forward in oceans of space.

Maybe or with him you could be out of the top 4.

I don't believe Mou/United have a worse squad then what people think tbh. Especially what Mou wants from his team that squad is a little better then what Pep wants from his to actually carry out.

Their squad isn't a patch on ours.

How many of theirs would replace the corresponding one of ours? Not many.

The sad but simple fact is this. For all mourinho is a hateful twat, he's a far far better manager than the fella we waited four years and two managers for.

Mourinho came to England and thrived. Pep has come and looks broken by it.

I'm waiting for the excuses next season. "He's had to bed in x number of new players so this is a transitional season. Again" or god forbid "he couldn't get 'his' players in as he couldn't offer champions league"

Mourinho is not a far far better manager than Pep. You've been on his case from early doors as have a few others and it's fucking sad to read. He's been here a season whilst the shitbag across the road has been here on and off for a long time. The only thing broken is the record you and a couple of others seem to continuously chat.

Hahahahaha. Nice one, rag.

United have spent most of the season in 6th. Have their worst home record in 40 years and have barely scored any goals.

They're still in the Europa League, yes, but the only reason we won't win the Europa League is because we weren't in it.

At Chelsea Mourinho had an absolutely top class set of players to choose from, including a world class defense.

The guy has two good years before he completely blows up. He might even blow up this season if they don't get CL again.

The circumstances Pep arrived to are completely different to when Mourinho arrived at Chelsea. Pep arrived to a team in decline with several players way past their prime. In the FA Cup semi he was only able to field one outfield player who wasn't here the season before.

Bravo and sane make 2 new additions mate. Plus he chose not to put nolito in the squad which would have been 3, 2 in outfield positions. I think he may have slept with Peps wife or something.

4 out of ten. Lack of progress in terms of playing style and some absurd decisions particularly the fullbacks. Out of the Capital One Cup early to the rags and then pitiful performances v Monaco and Arsenal.

We've won two out of 11 games v the top six. Humiliated away at Everton and Leicester.

Its not very often teams have good away records against the top 6, even champions. Usually a couple of wins is pretty good going.

Spurs for example have 1 away win in 3 seasons against the top 6 under Poch. That was against us when Clattrnburg gave that "handball" against Sterling last season.

What I would say though which I think is really important to your point...

If we secure one more point then it's the best top flight away record in the entire history of the club.
