RAWK

To be fair the hysterics on there are not really different to here when we lose, and any other football forum for that matter

However there are some interesting replies in the match day thread like

"I don't care any more" & " I am losing all interest in football" Big Money has ruined the game" etc

The problem is they have had it good for so long, it was so cosy the old top 4 and Champs league, now they are slipping some of them start to lose interest, as I often tell Rag friends of mine, nothing lasts for ever!

Get used to it

big money only ruined the game when there not the ones to spend it.

i would love these fuckers to have our past 34 years.

If Ian Rush predicts the lottery, pick different numbers:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2010/08/23/2083496/ian-rush-predicts-liverpool-victory-against-manchester-city" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/pre ... ester-city</a>

He spoke some truth with this quote!

"Rush also feels that tonight's game will give manager Roy Hodgson a useful indicator as to where his team stands in relation to the rest of the top flight's stellar sides."

Yes indeed, bottom half!

I started to feel a little sorry for them for a minute, but then I compared their last 35 years to my last 35 years - and I now *don't* feel sorry for them. Every dog has its day.<br /><br />-- August 24th, 2010, 8:23 pm --<br /><br />

PMSL that ones from VIllatalk. They are gutted.

I'm so fed up with the way this club is being run at the moment, it's draining me emotionally. I was hoping that the start of the season would help cheer me up a bit, allowing us to watch some actual football rather than just constantly worry about ownership issues and the financial future of the club. No such luck so far.

no passion, no new owners, fans singing ex managers name, players sulking - I hate what this club, and football in general is becoming.

I PMSL AT THAT - GREAT POST AND GOOD HUMOUR FROM THAT SITE - MIGHT BECOME A MEMBER.

LFC-TV ON SKY 434 analysing last nights game now,and hosted by a blue as well!
Update us, of what their conclutions are.
Hosted by City fan Alistair Mann and the studio guest was Gary Gillespie.
Gillespie to be fair made no excuses and gave us plenty of praise, his man of the match was AJ and he also picked out Joe Hart and yaya.Ally Mann looked like he was fighting off a huge beaming grin. The stats included Liverpool 11 attempts at goal to our 5 ...........really?
Possesion 65-35 to us (following on from 61-39 at spuds)
To be honest if they removed the pool logo's from the set you could quite easily mistake it for city tv.Very fair all round. Shame we don't have something like this.
Also i've got the basic sky package (no sport/movies) and this is included without paying extra like the rags/chelski channels.

A classic.

Expected a loss. Saw 3-0 to City at the bookies while I was waiting for my bus. I was tempted (and money's tight). I have never in the past been tempted to bet against my team, but I honestly couldn't see us getting anything tonight. The clubs in a real shit place at the moment, the players must be feeling it too. The Huang situaton etc, then Mascherano goes and tells the club he wants to fuck off. Not great preparations.

Thought playing 4-4-2 and Gerrard in midfield was very bold/foolish(?). I was interested to see how it could work, knowing how City play three physical players in there. Hoped I'd be suprised, but it was all too predictable and depressing. Still Martin Tyler's Monkey got his wish. How did it all work out then you prick? (Thinking about it, probably EXACTLY how he hoped. Or am I giving him to much credit for suggesting some form of deviousness/intelligence?)

I was underwhelmed at Hodgson's appointment, but he had my support regardless. If the Rafa chants were from us, then that was uncalled for towards Roy. Not nice. However, I have to admit to humming along. I don't care if that makes me a bad person. I really can't summon up any faith in our manager in taking us forward, but he's the best we can expect in this situation. Do not like the fact that he chose to congratulate City on their performance (or rather that the lose didn't seem to affect/anger him), and talked as though only losing by 3 was some kind of achievement. You're not managing Fulham now Roy. And we weren't unlucky, we were hopeless. Losing is bad, but it was the manner which disturbs me. And that's down to the team selection in my opinion.

Quite hate Purslow and Broughton at the moment. Even if Huang was stringing us along and CP and MB have the club's best interests at heart, it's easier to blame them, without knowing the facts. I just don't trust them. Purslow for sacking Rafa because of the media, and Broughton because he's a fucking Chelsea fan. He's acting in our best interests???

I don't usually rant. But what's the point being all calm and reasonable? We get shit from the media, we get shit from the referees, we get shit from those in control of the club. Our legend Kenny Dalglish gets treated like shit, and still we/he accepts it? Is this our price for being successful in the past? Is this karma??? All the good is being eroded from our club. I say to Torres, I say to Gerrard, LEAVE, go elsewhere, don't be dragged into all this shit also. Let us remember you as heroes and don't become imbittered by the situation, by staying at the club, and secretly resenting us.

Yeah that's right proper feeling sorry for myself, just like the team tonight. But we lick our wounds and hope that better things are around the corner. And on that note, I shall be writing another letter to Stephen Hester at RBS to ask him to do the "right" thing. Hopefully that will be surgery that gets us rid of H&G, and not putting us out of our misery.

I will regret posting this childish rant having had a few, but it's what I feel at the moment, and I really fear for our club. I'm praying we still have friends in China, and all this will magically be turned around.

jeeze, this makes me depressed.

not really

Not being funny like, but for everyone wants to look at that game and see us playing "lil' old City", a guarenteed 6 points unless Kiki fuckin' Musampa shows up, the reality of the situation is that we were playing a team that finished reasonably comfortably ahead of us last time out and then just spend a £100m+ in the summer, and is starting the season with a far better manager than they did last time out. It's City in name only. We just lost to a bonfide title contender with a shed load of good players. And Gareth Barry
.
