Why are we after all these Wolves players, you’d have thought the club would have learnt its lesson with Nunes. The best club in the world buying players from Poundland for Harrods prices… no thanks.

TBF, Neto is very different gravy to Nunes. Rayan is a player I looked at when we were linked & I wasn't that impressed.

There again, I didn't realise he's only 22 now. If others feel he beginning to realise his potential, then why not if the price is right.

It's obvious Pep doesn't trust Gomez, & after our drop off in form from last season, I'm all for clearing the decks with the likes of Nunes & Gomez, & trying to properly replace Gundog, Mahrez & finally landing a specialist left back & getting proper backup for Rodders.

finally landing a specialist left back
But Ake and Gvardiol are some of the best in the world. Ake had been incredibly consistent for us for a long time. Akanji also brilliant.

Whilst we have someone like Walker I can’t see us buying a full back for the other side. A right back to rotate with him I could see.

We just got emptied by Real Madrid who are going to sign Alphonso Davies. Neto is not going to trouble him when we meet next season, and Ait-Nouri would be about as trusted as Sergio Gomez. To borrow your term, these sort of players are Bisto gravy but we now need Espagnole.

We thought Gomez was the answer. If we had a proper flying, overlapping left back, it would release Grealish to come inside of his stronger foot.

Neither Gvardiol or Aké are known for their crosses, & we have to find a solution to get the most out of Erling.

That’s true. I think Gomez is a winger really. But say we signed a left back that was good enough to start I’d struggle to picture our team unless we also signed a high quality midfielder to play next to Rodri

Yes Gomez played left/right wing or as a No 10/8. It was Vinny who used him as a left back at Anderlecht.

We only signed Gomez as we missed out on Cucurella. It was an easy signing to do and Vinny recomended him.

He’d be a very good winger for Brighton or Bournemouth.

Which you can get away with in that league.

He was probably the 2nd best player at the u21 euros behind palmer as a winger. Who got a 42.5m move after that. Surprised we haven’t heard about more teams coming in for him. He’s a city fan, idolised David Silva, probably wants to make it although he won’t.

He's a great talent without doubt but he lacks self belief and looks like a lad who can't believe he is at our club.

Have not been particularly impressed by him whenever we've played them.
This isn’t the first time we’ve been tracking Aït-Nouri—I believe it dates back to around 2021/22. At the time, I was open to giving him a chance, thinking his potential might be worth the investment. But over the years, my stance has changed. While he’s still young and clearly has room to develop, I’ve come to feel that we can do better. There’s just something about his game that doesn’t fully convince me, and I’m not entirely sold on him, maybe my eyes are filled with fog. He is a good player, sometimes hot and sometimes cold, but I honestly think we can do better.

Hes a lot of show, not as much substance. Offensive but where does he play inverted or out wide
Always feels like he has a kind of free role at Wolves lol.. however they play or whoever the coach
