Your thoughts on this and the cunha transfer
Cunha was always leaving we’ll miss his goals but not his attitude which has been really poor since January.
Rayan completely different he’s been with us for 5 years always kept his head down he’s a pretty shy character
Think he’ll be great for you and whilst sad he’s leaving he’ll do well for you and I’m glad he’s getting the chance at a top club he’s earned it.
Thought we’d get more for him but we will see what the final fee is

Why have prices generally dropped?
Don't know. But players aren't going to the exorbitant prices they went for the last few yrs.

Or in the alternative what normally happens is that a few players go for exorbitant prices ( cause the buying teams are desperate or lock themselves into a chase) but everyone else goes at normal prices.

I think we just happened to hit the normal circuit of good players at normal prices Bonanza.

I can see why the Rayan's are 30 something million players... Reijnders is the only real surprise. Very food player, just signed a new contract, st an Italian club, generally those tend to cost significantly more.

But both Rayan''s in the 30 mil range made sense to me for different reasons.all along

Even before adding a new right-back (which of course I very much hope we do), a back four of Nunes, Khusanov, Gvardiol and Aït-Nouri would give us a lot of recovery pace in transitions. Add Rodri's positional nous and Reijnders' engine and I am already much less worried about us being sliced through if we turn the ball over

Why is Cherki so cheap then?

Good luck. Final year and Lyon was in a bind. These types of deals happen every season. Someone gets a really good player for very cheap coz circumstances create that condition.

We just happened to have cornered that lot this year.

Its like when McAllister went to Liverpool for a tenner and Caicedo cost over 100 million. The difference between the 2 wasn't that mich. Yet the prices were.

Would have loved Mac Allister at City, really smart player.
