Rayan Cherki - Welcome to City

We had a bad season with an ageing, injury hit, burned out squad and you want Pep to change the philosophy that has won him more than nearly every other manager?
In a nutshell yes?yes we had injuries but our squad aas still fairly strong, our build up play was so slow and laboured, we allowed teams who came to sit deep and catch us on the counter to do so with ease, look at Palace in the final, it's not an attack on Pep, so no need to be defensive, he bought a new concept but teams are on it, so yes a change in philosophy is.needed

The idea that it weren't the multiple injuries and aging players that stopped us but Pep's stubbornness is a strange one. Finishing just 3 pts off Arsenal after so many injuries and problems while reaching the FA Cup final was a good achievement. Let's be a bit more realistic.
Ok you don't think he is stubborn, I do, he watches the same game we do, the fans can see in games when a change is needed but he will sit and wait until it's to late, he made some very strange decisions against the Chavs in the champion League Final, and can't remember which team but 1 game we were getting outplayed and he did not make a single substitution, like I said to someone else it's not a personal attack, but people seem to think if anyone has an opinion then just point to what he has won/done, yes it's very impressive but he shouldn't be above a bit of critism

Put the shovel down

There's no doubt about it - he's impatient! Nice interview.

Let's hope he's even half as good as KDB, but hopefully he's the real deal - very excited to see him play for us.

This lad reminds me of Eden Hazard who, as much as we may dislike him as he was Chelsea, was one hell of a player.
