Surely the longer we wait to announce both Reinjders and Ait Nouri the more likely this is to happen? Why would they wait otherwise
Maybe but more likely the "delay" for Reijners and AitNouri is more likely awaiting clearance from PL UEFA and work permit confirmation by Department of Work and Pensions

I am old school, I guess, but I prefer that we stick to what has been said. The football world is quite frankly gruesome, and I preferred the times when my club was renowned to be dealing professionally and honourably. Everything changed in the course of the past 3 years, and I am deeply chagrined by that.

Fifteen years ago, our former president refused a substantially more consequent offer for Benzema from your neighbours, just because the player opted for Real. That was the right decision in my opinion.

Exactly!
I'd be the same. Our club have always facilitated key players' moves when departing, without overcomplicating it or leaving a bitter aftertaste. It loses 5-10m here or there, but in the long run the reputation sticks.

Just curious; has anyone mentioned to him that the climate in the south of France is slightly different to that in east Manchester? I suppose 200k per week (?) might make it slightly more tropical, though.

;-)

i would say questioning my ability to read was overtly hostile also sir, if not my most sincere and humble apologies you scouse loving git ;)

Well, when someone mistakes the word "we" for "you", one can only conclude that this person has the reading age of an infant.

Me saying Anfield has the best atmosphere in England is merely an observation thay many in the game agree with. Such an observation does not make one a partisan supporter of the subject, it's just an inference with no emotional connection.

You on the other hand don't know the meaning of a two letter word. What a shame.
