This guy just has that “it” factor. You can tell he believes in himself and is full of confidence.

Huge statement but I feel he will go down as one of our best when all is said and done. Just have a feeling about him

Fun fact he was using his right foot more when younger but switched to left because it’s harder to defend against
 
Maybe Viana see himself a bit in Cherki.. Viana really never had that flair though.

What do you think Cherki's best position is. A number 10, or playing more from the right side?
 
It's a shame Rayan Cherki doesn't quite fit into the same rhythm as the UBB chant. It can probably be fudged in though

Most of people claim he's better as a 10 but I reckon he's better on the right side where he gets all his options open thanks to his two-footedness and perfect timing for a pass. Defences can't know whether he'll be taking on his man or dish a perfect ball for the overlapping full back or the big man in the box. When he plays centrally, it's easier for defences to bring an extra man to shut passing lines to him.

Cheers mate, I think it's more likely Pep will play him on the right side with a bit of freedom to roam in the final 3rd.

Teams pack the middle of the defence against us it's very difficult to find space centrally.

In the most remarkable Scottish Cup final in recent times, Dundee United pulled off a stunning 4-0 win to bring the silverware back to Tannadice. I was so surprised, I had to calm myself down with a couple of slices of Soreen and a hot Vimto.

I'll add that there is one thing Cherki clearly has to improve, it's his game with his back to goal. That's why he can't play as a false 9 but it's also something missing to the toolbox of a proper 10.
