How could I forget the main suspect! :)

I wouldn't even class Grealish as been a pain for the club, Far from it.

He's a treble winner and a huge part our success especially that season.
Agreed

Mendy was hugely overrated - yes good going forward but horrendous defensively.

Grealish as much as I dont think he has been very good on the pitch, he hasnt done anything bad. I thkn watching and listening to him he needs some help. He clearly struggles with the mental pressure and I wonde if he has ADHD or something like that. He needs someone advising him to deal with the pressure of being a professional footballer.....

Not saying he is anyway like Gazza (or has the same issues) but he was a likeable kid at one point just having fun and a lot of pressure and limelight

Well said.

We don't really know what goes on behind closed doors and it's all just a guessing game.

For some reason opposition fans seem ti have it in for Grealish big time, I suppose that's what happens when you have a full head of hair, Good looking, Financially stable and successful winning trophies!

Looking from the outside I think you are correct, One thing about him he's very hard on himself, He's his own biggest critic. Whatever is going on with him I hope he gets past it whether that's at City or elsewhere.

Its football at the end if the day, More important things to worry about especially for his own mental health.

Not seen any full games of this lad, it's difficult to see how good someone is from clip reels but he reminds me a bit of Mahrez from what I've seen. Looks good with his feet and like he can beat a player. For the money being quoted he looks like he could be worth a punt if our scouts think he's good enough.

Good watch, really skillful, 2 footed.

But the point is not watching HIM, but how the defenders defend!

Very fair, no pushing, holding, hugging, catching so the artist of playing a ball with his feet can shine - according to the rules in place.

Now over to the PL, where for strange reasons all that unlawful defending is allowed to destroy any creative play. Cherki would be frustrated after 10 mins by opponents and even more by refs permanently waving play on...

Just wanted to point out that PL is a different universe, sadly.
I truly hate that.

That's got nothing to do with a player being called racist. 99% of the France team is from Africa - they're not all referred to as "lazy". It's utter nonsense
It's just a weird point to argue. Society (and media) has picked and selected who they want to treat like shit for centuries.

We have seen it first hand when Raz decided to "step out of line"

And France has even bigger issues than the UK

True!

Funny thing is, the french teams this season in Europe have done well against English teams defences

Bit like mad Mario. Every now and again we need a spark. For the price quoted it’s worth taking the chance.
Are you saying we could enjoy a bit more of this?

Would like us to get him but nagging feeling we won’t and it will be Gibbs-white who ironically will be more expensive.

I could understand if Pep was unsure. He inherited 3 French players from Manuel and got rid pretty quick. His only other foray into the French gene pool was ... enough said. Of course I may be assuming to much!

Having said that I do hope he's up for this one.
He also signed Laporte, who was French when we bought him. And Mahrez is basically French. Let's be honest, Sagna and Clichy were both a bit old by then, and Nasri had injury problems (only ever played 52 games in four seasons after leaving us) and Mangala was always shit, but particularly unsuited to Guardiola's tactics.

Laporte and Mahrez are French regardless of who they play for

Not sure we can judge his attitudes to Frenchman based on letting a 31 year old Clichy and 34 year old Sagna leave. And Mangala was…Mangala - not suited to Pep’s style, let’s say.
