Get French Football News understands that the France U21 international has been learning English in anticipation of a potential transfer this summer. With Premier League clubs reportedly interested, Cherki could be well equipped to swap Ligue 1 for the English top flight.

I've said elsewhere, Salah and Mahrez were competing at a lower level at the same age as Doku.

There's a chronic lack of understanding and patience in this fan base now. Everyone seems to think Viana can just go out and buy Toure, Silva and Aguero level players. It's just not like that any more.

At this point it’s clear this is happening.

I’m excited. Since mahrez left haven’t really been excited about a player who could produce something out of nothing. Real X factors almost mavericks. Players I’d personally pay to watch!

Can’t wait for the club World Cup

I don't see him as a starter, especially against teams that park the bus. Near the end of the season he was coming on as a sub against tired legs & looked so much more threatening

That doesn't sound like someone who is lazy although completely different to work rate on a football pitch
