Targeting Cherki and Reindeers suggests we have decided close ball control is the way to beat the low block. Is David Silva available?
He’s not slow. We’ve got pace in the forward positions but against parked busses it’s very difficult to utilise. What we need is a great dribbler in central areas to open up defences. This lad has that and being completely two footed makes him very hard to stop. Palmer has no pace but he’s not bad at creating! No pace, so an ideal signing for our walking football.
I said earlier on here Cherki is basically a faster version of Palmer. He’s not slow. Knickers in a twist, Auntie?Fucking hate this Gen Z phrase.

Exactly - also one of the greatest players we ever had to unlock defences didn't have searing pace but he had a speed of thought that was way ahead of anyone else - A certain David Silva. Cherki looks like he has the potential for a bit of that - I don't want a team of Forrest Gump runners just because they are fast! This lad seems to have something about him and I'm all for it - hope we get him.I said earlier on here Cherki is basically a faster version of Palmer.
Which is a fucking great thing.
I’ve only seen Cherki on you tube, but a few clips he reminded me of Silva. Especially a couple where surrounded he did that turn in a circle thing and come out with the ball.Targeting Cherki and Reindeers suggests we have decided close ball control is the way to beat the low block. It should be. You can’t control pressure but the media control the narrative portrayed and unfortunately for us they hate us and love the dippers. The difference in price is massive
The difference with the pressure being on Wirtz to succeed is also massive
Looks quick enough to me (mind you with my knees everyone looks quick)No pace, so an ideal signing for our walking football.
I’d pay £20m (of City’s money) for Cherki to do that against Arsenal againI’ve only seen Cherki on you tube, but a few clips he reminded me of Silva. Especially a couple where surrounded he did that turn in a circle thing and come out with the ball.
He actually looks a better dribbler than the great manI’ve only seen Cherki on you tube, but a few clips he reminded me of Silva. Especially a couple where surrounded he did that turn in a circle thing and come out with the ball.
I know he’s not like them all but I’m getting like Bernabia, berkovic and Georgi vibes where he’ll become an instant Fans favourite. Scary potential.Last player I though we would go for 2 weeks ago. It is incredibly exciting because this is the type of signing that can either end in tears or genuinly define a generation
