Cherki's only problem with us will be that some teammates will just not be on the same wavelength for a while, so anticipate seeing passes rolling out of play, missed chances, and bemused looks all round. Sad truth is that we'd become so risk-averse and static that it'll take time for the players to instinctively make the daring runs again or appreciate that he'll actually be able to put the ball through the needle. If the CWC allows them to gel and get a better understanding of each other before August, then it could prove a God send.

Marmoush will thrive imo mate and hopefully Cherki can get Erling back in the goals!

It’s a shame, because Foden had all the potential to be a dynamic player like that but has tailored his game in other ways instead.

Which is fine, he can still be effective, but just not *as fun* to watch.
Don't give up on Phil yet, hopefully he can resolve his mental health issues and return to form and still be that dynamic player.

I think Marmoush, Bobb, and Cherki will naturally form a very good understanding, especially against the low block. Haaland and Foden, however, need that extra space to excel, so I think it's going to have to be horses for courses and much more rotation.
At the season's start, the oldest attacking player is likely to be 26, so the attack is going to have plenty of vigour. Guardiola will no longer have the dependable 30+ players, though, so he'll have to adapt to keep them all in form.

He’s a better creator than David Silva. Silva was unrivalled in terms of controlling a game but for pure creativity, Cherki is on another level even to Silva.
I don't want to overreact, but he might be better than prime Messi!

I wonder if Phil's poor form (as much as fitness and personal) is actually symptomatic of City's poor form and if he would naturally thrive again in a flowing dynamic City.

We all love a new signing but let’s not start on Foden. He will be back to his best soon enough.

Bobb? Who knows, a lot people are excited to see him and group him in with players who have done it all. He does get better and better each week while not playing -:)

A vibrant city team is about to arrive. Oreilly also needs integrated into midfield over the next season or 2. I hope he has patience, same goes for Bobb.

Anyway, rambled there, leave our Phil the fuck alone -:)
