I let you guess if he is right footed or left footed after seeing this video :

I think you got a pretty good glimpse of his qualities last night, especially passing. Sharp cutting pass through the lines are his trademark.

Sets up his goal with an outrageous touch with his right and hits a screamer with his left then sets up the fourth with his left. Numerous genius passes with his right! Genius. I’m 53 and haven’t been this excited about a signing - maybe with the exception of Haaland - since we signed Barry Siddall

I was going to say the same. But its also worth noting even without the contextual information, mentally, he is comfortable going with either. The stats might suggest he should favor one, but his mind to feet connection is impartial. :)

Personally, i think he is left footed, but extremely capable with the right.
I think he’s right footed because natural left footers are so incredibly reliant on it = Foden and Haaland for instance and right footers are far more capable to work on their weaker foot compared to left footers.

But it’s I love it nevertheless, can’t wait to see him playing for us

I had his goal on replay for a good few minutes to see if that first touch for his goal was intentional. I'm starting to think it was because there were so many limbs in front of him that a shot on the ground surely would've been blocked so he decided to set himself up better.

Disappointed with the Wirtz situation but a huge plus in finding a cheaper alternative with a little less pressure attached to the signing of Cherki.
That mental break of not having to justify a massive fee sets himself up nicely from day one. If anything it's a chance for him to make a statement that he should've been sought after more. If we had wound up with Wirtz and he didn't finish the season with over 10 goals, he'd have gotten the Grealish treatment.

Ha, ha, ha!

They won’t have a penny left after being rinsed for Wirtz and his salary
I’m still surprised they are gambling that amount of money unless someone of value moves on. I thought Diaz was going to fund part of it but that’s fell through.

Absolutely and along with KDB's departure it would be a perfect storm. Wirtz doesn't really know what he is letting himself in for.

Not that either of them would be the like for like replacement anyway, but the media and some supporters would be expecting that from whoever we signed which would be incredibly unfair. Either way this is a great signing, not only in terms of value but in terms of future-proofing the squad in a way.

not at the numbers quoted, we will bolster 3 positions and still have change out of what will be spent of Wirtz, get Rodders back and we will fly
