Think this is a much more realistic display so far. Undoubtedly insanely talented. Can be a little careless in possession and obviously workrate not his strong point. But he ain’t lazy and with the amount of possession we have he will have so much opportunity to do what he’s best at.

And what is your point? At the highest level, if you have talented players who work harder they will beat other talented players who don't work as hard. This isn't a case of hard workers vs talented players. It's talented players vs talented players Unless cherki does become kdb levels then ok ye you don't have to work as hard as others to be as effective.

Regardless of actual ability, there's no way that Cherki outranks Mbappe in French football. Whatever position Mbappe wants, he gets.

I think this guy is going to split the fanbase. Some will absolutely love him and his languid style others will find his apparent lack of work rate and sometimes carelessness with the ball frustrating.

For me I know I’m gonna absolutely love watching him play. He is box office that is clear to see. I just wonder whether he can find a few yards of pace from somewhere. I remember foden worked with an athletic coach to get a better burst of acceleration. Something like that could do him wonders.

Just going off what I’ve seen his floor seems to be a payet type player (very fun to watch and will produce absolute moments of magic but lacks consistency). But given his age and likely improvement his ceiling is a genuine world class player who can win you games.
