Chairman interview - targets locked - two delivered at clinical efficiency and reasonable cost and out of nowhere we decide our second option for our greatest ever replacement is a wonderkid with crazy low release clause. Everything moving at top speed and then he makes his international debut and he is the talk of the town.

And from there, complete fucking silence. Did not even allow us fans to rub on the wounds of our competitors post the Spain game. Not a peep from last three days.

Thats how you make a blockbuster suspense movie - provided the good guys win in the end and he is wearing light blue :D

That last paragraph reminds me of that film Blue Moon Rising. I think it was near the beginning of it when one of the city fan protagonists talks about blue being the colour of good things like the sky whether red is the colour of bad things like blood and the devil, like the colours of good and evil.

Think you’re right. Pretty shitty from Lyon if they have backtracked, but naïve from the player and his representatives not to have it written in stone in his contract.

So it might be that Cherki needs to agitate for the move.

Guess we’ll never know and the deal being done will be the next thing we hear.
