I don’t know but there’s other players he could be comparable too but it seems to be just North African players who didn’t fulfill their potential. The lads 21 not 31. Maybe saying racist was a tad over the top but it’s definitely a lazy narrative.

I agree. Him and Foden will play a lot on the right and basically be a RW and RCAM at the same time depending on their and the full backs decision.

Cherki has a lot to offer and hopefully will still get a lot of freedom this way. Kev played a lot of minutes out wide like this before fully running the middle and think that’s normal for Pep.

He can certainly play 10 but think he’ll be a monster on the right and allow less pressure on Foden which is hugely beneficial.

Nearly every player we have bought in the last 10 years has had muppets on YouTube, twitter etc telling us the player is overrated. Clueless.

They compare them because of play style nothing else. It’s the same when Neymar was in comparison to Ronaldinho and not Jay-Jay Okocha. Same descendants same playstyle
