RB Leipzig (A) - Post-match Thread

As wonderful as Pep s he`s a stubborn fucker at times - a dead rubber and he insists on playing some that didn`t need those minutes in their legs. It was an ideal opportunity for Palmer. maybe McAtee, Wilson-Esbrand, Egan-Riley and Lavia. Some of those playing tonight treated it as a training/ pre-season game. It was an injury/red card waiting to happen.
And fuck the integrity of the tournament other teams wouldn`t give a fuck about playing some kids. It`s no wonder some of them get disillusioned seeing no pathway to the first team.

Yeah i agree.

In the last two tournaments he's played with England, he's been great in the preceding season for us and the dominant CH in both the WC and Euros, but came back and been a shadow of the player he was, it's strange.
Yep, perhaps understandable that nearly all of the lads who went deep in the Euros for England have had pretty poor starts to the season.
Not just City’s lads but the likes of Slabhead, Shaw, Mings, Pickford, Phillips, Kane etc have been pretty shite so far. Rice and Mount perhaps the exceptions.
I have no idea but I wonder if the majority of the Italy squad have have also suffered a similar fall-off?

Agree 100% with all of that. No need for a tin hat, many are in the trenches with you. Even some of the Pep FC crew were baffled tbh

Bet you feel like a proper Blue after watching that. @BringBackSwales

I finished work in time to watch the second half. Am I allowed to be a City fan again now?
knob head, you were the one who came in here giving it large about can’t be arsed to watch the game, muppet. Funny how the negatives always come on giving it large after a defeat, almost as if it makes them feel justified
