Man of the match for the first 55 mins was definitely Ake as he had no involvement in the first half.

Alvarez and Foden then won the game in the 10 halfspaces, with help from Doku.

Foden for me, just as he had a hand in all the goals.

For me it’s between three of the subs. Ake added immediate solidity to the defence that had been missing in the first half and both Doku and Alvarez just have us so many more options up front and the middle. I‘m leaning toward Doku because he actually made their defenders uncomfortable, something we definitely didnt do in the first half.

No one came out of the first half with a great deal of credit, Lewis and Bernardo made the least mistakes and were the most secure. Doku and Ake made the difference but probably Foden man of the match for having a hand in all goals. Ake was our best defender and he only played for 45 mins.

Every time Doku got the ball 2 of their defenders committed to him such is his threat.

However my vote has to go to Phil. Brilliant display.

Foden, superbly taken goal and 2 lovely assists despite the deflection for the 2nd.
How fucking good was Doku when he came on as well? Got the whole stadium excited.

Foden has terrible first half (certainly not alone) but brilliant second half with gol and two assists, so I went for Phil but could have been Doku, Alvarez or Ake as they helped change the game. Maybe Pep learnt something about use of subs as well.

Lewis. Excellent throughout.

Foden also very good.

Aké, Doku and Álvarez all helped change the game, when they came on.

Dias and Rodri both had a shocker. I’ve never seen Rodri give the ball away so many times.

Foden. Awful first half, but so was nearly everyone. Instrumental for us turning the tides in the 2nd, what 'proper stepped up' looks like.

Second half Rico was the Gundo link in midfield that made all the difference. Amazing skill, awareness and temperament. Would love him to have a late growth spurt to add more physicality that would make him the perfect package.

Foden - two assists and a goal after a disjointed 1st half. Great to see the way he and Alvarez can link up with both in central roles it created room for both of them and immediately created the first goal.

Lewis again impressed - shame he couldn't keep his shot on target - and I think it was Lewis who played a couple of through balls that Haaland miscontrolled. But then his ability to slot into that deeper role to accommodate Alvarez and Foden in the inside forward roles is such an asset.

Ake steadied the defence and helped provide the platform for the comeback. Doku and Alvarez provided the spark we needed.

Shocked at only 17 votes for Julian. His off-the-ball movement opened them right up.

Julian for me, followed by Ake, Doku, and Phil.

For 2 assists and a goal has to be Foden, but Lewis was the only one who was steady for full 90 minutes
