Wasn't that our joint biggest Champs lge win.? Just checked, there were striking similarities to 4 years ago, 7:0 against a German team(Shalke), first goal a pen, that one was also even 3:0 at Half time.
Personally I think Chelsea would be a very decent draw for us.( we could then potentially knock them out of 3 cup comps in one season)However we dont want history to repeat itself too much as following the above game we lost to a team from London in the quarters didn't we!
Come to think of it we aren't great against other English teams in the CL though are we!

As for Haaland, I don't think I've ever seen a striker as ruthless inside the box. An absolute machine. Can't wait till he settles in and his team mates start to find him.

Agree - sounds ridiculous but I think Haaland and the rest of the team will have a greater understanding next season - a sobering thought for the rest
 
I seriously don`t know where to start after that performance as for me there really wasn`t a bad City player.
I thought prior to the game that I`d be more than happy with a 2-1 or a 1-0 win .
City you were superb in every department and for me one of our best games under |Pep in the CL.
Pep and co. well done.

Avoid them but hopefully see them knocked out ..

Fair play to Pep, that worked brilliantly. I was worried about a lack of pace in the lineup but then I know fuck all.

Not even an average performance from any player, they were all excellent. Akanji and Stones quietly did their business brilliantly on a night when others were absolute shining lights.

"We play very good with and without the ball. We scored a lot of goals. Erling was amazing but everyone was exceptional.

"Five in 60 minutes. Incredible guy, huge talent. Power, mentality, he's a serial winner. Really good."

On whether they have missed those goals in previous seasons: "I don't think so. The reason why we concede a lot of goals we give the opponent.

"We scored four goals here against Real Madrid, six against Monaco, four against Tottenham. A lot of the time we were out because we conceded a lot. Right now these guys they defend really well. We had with Sergio before, this instinct to score goals."
