RB Leipzig (H) | Post Match Thread

I seriously don`t know where to start after that performance as for me there really wasn`t a bad City player.
I thought prior to the game that I`d be more than happy with a 2-1 or a 1-0 win .
City you were superb in every department and for me one of our best games under |Pep in the CL.
Pep and co. well done.
Oakie cokie ..he put his left leg in ..he put his right leg in..he shook those twats about

A lot of absolutely "Wow!" performances.
Icing on a magical cake from KDB at the end, who was back to his best tonight.
That second goal was incredible from Haaland - perfect centre forward play.
To think, many thought it would be a difficult game tonight - oh, ye of little faith!

Don't honestly know if my bowels can take any more of that this season!

Superb performances all round. Erling as super predator but wee Kev pulling all the strings. John Barnsley Beckenbauer Boulders Stones can football. Ake was a superb defender who's getting much more comfortable coming forward. Thought Akanji was also brilliant next to future City captain Rueben. Grealish has really clicked this season and Riyad loves this comp.

Well done lads richly deserved.

PS darke really is a boring imbecile.

fantastic all around performance. Flashes over the last few weeks that we are getting there and it showed tonight..

On top of the goals, Haalands link up play over the last few weeks has suddenly gone up a few notches and its really noticeable. ...but what a finisher he is...just so natural.

The original version of KDB finally showed up again.

Thought the penalty was soft....definitely a penalty going by the rules but I dont think anyone noticed it barring the person on VAR

Also thought Ederson got away with it...he was so close to potentially getting himself sent off...think he got something on the ball which saved him but he seems to do that on occasions (hes done it in the CL before I think - when Walker ended up in goal???)

so many 10 out of 10 performances but think KDB gets MOTM

That was utterly brutal from start to finish. Loved the intensity, energy and pressing and when we play like that we are a joy to watch. Obviously, Erling will take the plaudits quite rightly, but the return of Kdb at his majestic best is the main thing I will take from tonight.

Ominous for other teams if we maintain that

We’re spinning into gear. 5 wins in a row for the first time since September. 9 matches unbeaten since Spurs.

On to Burnley this weekend to make it 6 & 10 respectively.

The Treble is on.
