Peps obviously picking and choosing when to use him in games he thinks he suit him.

I think it's about who we're playing and how they are likely to play. If a team is going to be trying to get balls in the box as much as possible and have enough possession to do it regularly I can understand leaning on Stones rather than Lewis.

I think both Palace and Leipzig fit that brief.
