Bit of a luxury that our weakest link has the most goals across all competitions of any player in the EPL.

You have to say at 2-1 the team showed tremendous character / I was thinking there is no way Rodri is keeping that unbeaten run… that’s certainly ending tonight

But to gain control and then to dominate them the way we did is unbelievable - on face of it they really only scored two very flukey goals, an absolute worldy and only had a couple of half chances and let’s face it the number of times we gave up possession uncharacteristically we could have been much better

For those of you who think we will end up with bayern in the second leg flights to munich direct from manchester are currently £45, on the monday the week the 1st leg of semis will be (29/04), or you can pay an extra £12 on trip.com to have the option of getting your £45 back. I've checked the dates and I'm unable to make it due to prior comments throughout that week but hopefully some blues can take advantage of the cheap flight

Really proud of the players tonight. Pep is spot on, in the past our heads might have gone down when we conceded those quick goals and it turned to 2-1 in their favour, but we stuck at it and scored two superb goals in the second half, as well as causing them problems every time we went forward.

Hopefully KDB and Walker will be fit for the second leg and if we can play the way we did in the second half, I don't think they'd be able to live with us.

Its probably been commented on already, but what was going on with their pitch tonight, by modern standards it looked very poor and cut up before the game even started. Not a patch on the Etihad pitch and hopefully our passing will be even slicker next week.

also for the return journey on the thursday the train to basel then direct flight to manchester in the evening works out at about £71. Only downside is around 4.5 hours on the train
