Waiting to get out of the ground. We were terrible and I had no expectations of a win, but thought we might have given a bit more a shit - but it was over before it even began.

Hard to make a niose up here, but we tried - and big shout out to the Blues who got a Poznan going at 3-0 down. But you know you how shit you are, when the Spanish police are even nice to you...

Madrid were the best side in the first leg and by far the better side in this one. Totally deserved win for them and totally deserved exit for us after what has been a really horrendous CL campaign this season.

We pretty much gave up after that first goal went in.

The line up looked suspect and it turned out to be the case.

Lots of poor performances and no stand out player.

We are have fallen so far this season. We are not at that level anymore sadly and the rebuild needed is huge.

Even the guys on the 93:20 podcast thought we'd win - I was like on what basis? A good result against a compliant Newcastle team?

No one is OK with it. It was expected. City were never going to win ithevCL this season. With Rodri back next season, the new signings bedded in, and more new players, we’ll stand a better chance of winning the CL next season.
 
I thought we would lose/go out but never in such a toothless manner. Everyone seemed utterly demoralised by their early goal and it was reflected in the rest of our performance.

As much as they’ve done for our club, the likes of Gundogan, De Bruyne and Bernardo need to leave in the summer.
 
Guess now we can focus on
1) to 4
2) FA cup
3 115

I’d be happy if the 115 got cleared
We can celebrate all those trophies again
 
They were really good - great pressing, clean passing, great energy and pretty much all of our weaknesses. We also helped them look really good through poor set up, mistakes and some really really poor performances.

Ah well. Khusanov is great, Nico made some mistakes but I loved his needle.
