I can only think pep thought it was done after the shambles of the home leg…..defies explanation otherwise.

Pep didn't seem arsed one bit tonight, not acceptable. Horrible set up led to a thoroughly dogshit performance with some players not having a fucking clue where they were supposed to be playing

No surprise really. As well as we played in parts in the first leg Real scored three and could easily have had six. Even if we went into tonight with a 2-1 lead we were never winning the tie. Too.many old, jaded and injury prone players. The new lads haven't had time to unpack their bags yet never mind make a difference but there are some promising signs.
A ruthless clear out is needed in the summer and our recruitment has to be spot on if we are to get back to the very top again.

It was exactly like watching us batter Real Madrid less than 2 years ago. Which shows you how quickly a team can turn when things click. We will be fine. There’s nothing to fear, nothing to doubt.

Nunes is a shit right back but is quite a big lad so could have been given a go in midfield. Ie were he is supposed to play. Pep fucked him by playing him at right back, he ain’t no Fabian Delph
