Tbf it doesn't help Semenyo we bought him as a two footed winger but now we play him center forward to cover for the fact Haaland isn't scoring or moving.

What’s worse is that we were worse than the bumming we received from them last season.

A year into the rebuild, hundred of millions spent to look even shitter.

The tactics are completely rotten. Foden, Cherki and Reijnders non-existent. Haaland looking like a chocolate teapot upfront. Still conceding by a simple long ball over the top.

people were defending Savinho and how good he was... him and Doku both have a very low footballing iq, they can get away against weaker teams or some average players ,but not against the very best who play with heart and head.
 
Well, we deserved nothing from that after our tactics were found out. Complete arrogance from Pep, and away from home to Real Madrid, in the Champions League.

He obviously wanted to prove something but playing that high, it could have been any team that beat us. But with their quality, complete disregard for the opposition.

Got to bring it back at ours, Pep needs to square the huge mistake tonight.

They weren't shit. They just didn't have their stars. The guys out there worked hard and ran City defenders all over the place. It's not always about the names. Effort means everything. Look at Bodo. And they got stunning quality, too, from one player.

Haaland should be ashamed of himself tonight. Walking pace for most of the game. Doesn't fancy the battle Vs Rudiger and won't embarrass himself by racing 1 v1 against Huijsen. If your focal point doesn't want to play the whole system fails as it's built around him. He just never made the runs or competed.

Dropping Nunes made zero sense before the game and makes even less now. Playing NOR at fullback when he's excelled in midfield as well.

Embarrassing performance not helped with the shocking team selection.

Serious changes at the top needed in the summer. Everything is stale, tactics outdated, coaching non existent, set pieces laughable as usual. Throwing another 300 million at it wont change the awful tactics, square pegs in round holes, shit coaching.

Haaland needs a spell on the bench, clearly saving himself for the Wirld Cup. Been woeful in 2026 offering us nothing.
