Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Got the team completely wrong. Absolutely diabolical to play that same two man midfield that got done by Utd.

Needs to look at playing Nico G in these big away games alongside Rodri. At least play NOR there in his better position of midfield. Looked better when RAN and Cherki came on.

He cannot start Haaland away Saturday. He will, but he can’t.

Disgraceful to a man, no thought behind the tactics at all. Too many average players in the squad.

I’ve said it before but whatever the outcome at the end of this season it’s time for change and a new approach both at pitch and board level.

All on pep.

Our greatest ever manager but all good things come to an end.

2 seasons of shite football from pep sadly. Yes injuries, shite buys but peps tactics & game management is poor & now costing us

Changes winning teams for no reason.
Reijnders & savio worst players in a long time. Rodri on his own in midfield with high lines every week is just fookin stupid now

Just unfeckinbelievable. The worst Real Madrid team in living memory and we were 3 down at half time.

My wife is more a full back than NOR, and as for that lanky Italian streak of piss in net, well God help us.

Savinho was his usual guaranteed dogshit, whilst Semenyo might as well have not been there.

And then there is Haaland, just how fuckin ineffective is he. He is just absolutely 100% shite. He offers less than nothing. Every time I see his name in the line up you know we are playing with 10 men.

I've seen some pitiful and unexplainable City performances in many decades of watching City, but Jesus, that was the most dreadful I've ever seen.

Just WTF must have Cherki and Marmoush have been thinking have have as they watched that dross.

In short, Guardiola, it's time to go.
The pussy man is back..

Unacceptable line-up and performance, but this team is never ready to win cl anyway. No real improvement in a year and besides Cherki, useless signings again that won't thrive under Pep. Time to make some statement signings and go after the players that really do improve the team.

Well that went well. Where to start.

Terrible job by the manager tonight Im afraid. Lined us up wide open, which was blatantly obvious after 25 mins. Then didn't do anything to change the formation/personnel so the tie is now out of sight. Gonzalez shouldve started this game alongside Rodri; but even more certainly shouldve been put on quickly 20 mins in.

The bizarre obsession Pep has with Savinho needs Mulder & Scully to look in to it, and as an aside I thought it was a bold decision by Semenyo to make his CL debut wearing slip-on shoes.

The Reijnders sub added nothing - which any match going City fan could've foreseen.

We set ourselves up as though we were playing The Dog and Duck, not Real Madrid in their backyard. Then none of our big players decided to show themselves and the result was an absolute shoeing that ended our CL campaign.

Once again Haaland was an empty shirt as he has been for 3 months save for 20 mins at Anfield, and it's difficult to cite any City player who got anywhere near the level required.

On the plus side it'll save many of us a fair bit of dosh going out at this stage. A sobering night and a reality check. The manager decided to go attacking and bar the odd pot shot we barely laid much of a glove on them. Remember most of that team had a full weeks rest going into this fixture....and then produced that. Hmm
