First off, I’m genuinely not sure what he “is”.

Second, he lacks the on the ball quality for this level.

Third, he doesn’t even have the physical presence / aggression / graft to make up for 1 and 2.

Poor buy, imo.

Makes you think why the fuck is he coming on at 3-0 down….

Stop being a doom monger. It's just tactics again. When pep learns to stop chopping our balls off we'll win the lot. We've got the players.

It’s a bit more than that, the fall off in quality is unreal. The Dutch Ghost, Sav etc, no fight, poor press. Tactics played a part but it’s a wider issue.

City and Pep were completely shown up tonight, the way Madrid just run through our midfield at will was very difficult to watch. The set up was wrong Pep should have gone with double pivot of Rodri and Gonzalez from the start.

Frustrates the hell out of me this. First leg, away from home, and we're wide open in midfield. Insane starting line up.

Really poor all round. Pep’s game plan was risky even if everyone played well. We were nowhere near.

I wasn't expecting that!

I thought we started the game well, but got we got caught out and punished, big time!
We fell off after conceding the first and didn't seem to know what to do.
Valverde took his goals brilliantly but The Don, Dias, Guehi and O'Reilly seemed way off it at the back.

No surprise that Savinho was hooked at HT but i thought Pep waited too long to change the shape and get Ait-Nouri, Cherki and Marmoush on.
After The Don saved the penalty, we seemed a bit interested in scoring but apart from O'Reilly's unlucky effort, we didn't really trouble Courtois.
I thought we might go for it but we didn't look good until it was way too late.

So overall it was so fucking disappointing!

This may not be particularly popular this evening BUT I actually thought we were alright first half and should have scored before Valverde started playing the finishing game of his career.

This tie can still overturned thanks to the penalty save.

We were ok until they ran through our midfield, which was every time they got the ball…other than that.

We know the team have struggled physically, particularly second half, against teams that can run -and Pep decides to pick 4 forwards…I cannot fathom his decision tonight. Bonkers.
